At DenTalk, we respect the privacy, rights, and choices of every user. If you no longer wish to use the DenTalk mobile application, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data. This page explains how to submit a deletion request, what information will be removed, and what data we may retain for legal and operational reasons.
How to Request Your DenTalk Account Deletion
To permanently delete your DenTalk account, please follow the steps below:
Option 1: Request From Within the App
- Open the DenTalk app on your iOS or Android device.
- Go to Settings → Account Settings.
- Tap on Delete My Account.
- Review the information displayed and confirm your request.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is completed.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request deletion by emailing us:

➡ Include the following details:
- Full Name
- Registered Email Address
- Registered Mobile Number
- Country
- Reason for account deletion (optional)
Our team will verify your identity for security purposes and process your request within 7–14 business days.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Once your account deletion request is processed, the following information will be permanently erased from DenTalk systems:
1. Personal Identification Data
- Name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Profile photo
- Account preferences
2. App Activity Data
- Posts created in educational or community groups
- Comments and reactions
- Saved bookmarks
- Chat history (unless retained for safety compliance)
3. Device & Usage Information
- Device details linked to your account
- Login history
- Session information
4. Patient or Dentist Profile Information
- Professional details (for dentists)
- Patient-specific community participation
- Appointment preferences or communication settings
This deleted data cannot be recovered once processed.
What Data May Be Retained (and Why)
We may retain certain information, even after your account is deleted, for reasons such as:

Some data must be stored for a limited duration due to:
- UAE legal requirements
- Fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution
- Security investigations
✔ Operational Logs (Temporary)
System logs and metadata may be temporarily stored for audit purposes.
✔ Anonymized or Aggregated Data
Data that does not identify you personally—such as statistical usage metrics—may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.

After these retention periods, the data is securely deleted or permanently anonymized.
What Happens After Your Account Is Deleted
Once your request is processed:
- You will no longer be able to log in to DenTalk.
- All personal data linked to the account will be erased.
- Your participation in groups, comments, and profile will be removed or anonymized.
- Any ongoing communication features or community access will be disabled.
- You may create a new account using the same email or number in the future, as long as no legal holds exist.
Important Notes Before Deletion
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- If you have an ongoing dispute or misuse report filed, the request may be delayed due to verification processes.
- Group posts may appear as “Anonymous” after deletion to preserve educational content without revealing identity.
